Default 1j swap

if i buy a half cut soarer 1j,
how easy it (relative) to those swaps where you get the ecu, engine and what not?

i figure it will be mostly easy (as in not hard thinking)
i hope i can keep the factory ac(i love ac)
i want to just bolt n go for now while i collect...

boost cut defencer
safc
electronic boost controller
usdm injectors
injector pack
2jz water pump
boost gauge (I won one in the apex grab bag sale, but it reads in kpa)
turbo fuel pump 300
hks ssq
hard pipe
fmic
silicone hoses

i will take pix. and post my info, i'll just going for basic install for now...

Should be the same as if you just got the basic swap..my swap took pretty much a couple of hours and it was mostly drop in...plus I still use the A/c daily (in Miami)

word, AC is a must. Couldnt you pick up everything from like JHOT instead of actually buying half a car?

That is what I did and it works like stock.

I'm not sure what all the differences in A/C line fitting sizes are for different years, but my 1995 A/C line fittings wouldn't fit on the JDM 1JZ 1992 A/C compressor.

good deal on the clip. If for whatever reason you have trouble making the lines fit, you could always have custom lines made.

Do NOT cut all the wires in one place. Do one wire at a time and do it in different locations that way you won't have a huge bulge of connections in spot.
