97+ conversion
hey everyone i just bought a sc300 today unfortanually its a 92 but i couldnt pass it up with only 64k miles. i have 3 questions if anyone couls help me out i would appricate it.
1. what parts are required to do a full 97+ front end swap do u need to change headlights and all or are the simalar to 92-96.
2. does any company make or modify headlights to make them projector style hid?
3. are there any companys that makes a nice from bumper kit that isnt ebay crap and dosent look ricy and flows with the car??

1-front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, rear bumper extensions, and door moldings around the bottom of the door. all OEM will get you a complete 97+ kit. headlights are all the same, low's hi's are match for match but the 97 bumper has fog lights. so, you'll have to wire up those fogs customly if you wanna use them but many people rock open holes there it looks fine.
2- our headlights are already projector style. reflecter style has no direction, its just a miror and has a lot of glare. if you look at your headlight you'll see a sphere in there with glass for the bulb. thats the projector.
3- autocouture, vertex, origin, are all big names ($$$) that are not egay crap.

oh damn i didnt realize they all ready had projector ight nice... how much do u guys think the whole conversion will cost and how hard will it be to find?? im not worried about color matchin cuz im gonna repaint the car after the conversion. thanks for all the replys so fast

oh ok. i like the vertex kit and the origin kit do u think these kits will fit perfectly? and wat do u guys think would look better a 97+ or with the origin or vertex kit??

ok thanks for that seems like mixed reviews on fitiment with the body kits and fiberglass cracking n chippin seems like the 97+ might just be the better option. should i buy the parts new from a lexus dealer?
