hermosa, have you done dynos yet? i'm thinking of doing what static911 did in the GS forum, by doing a bunch of dynos on a handful of intakes. I'm down to volunteer my car.... what do you think?

The dyno shop was in the process of moving so I do not have them yet. Ethan(Static911) was going to arrange some dyno testing this weekend but I have not been contacted yet.

I was thinking of waiting until I get my exhaust done before doing a dyno but I might anyway.

BTW the WR combo really pulls much harder than stock over the entire range. I am very impressed with the results. Once the exhaust is on it should really kick butt. I might not need to go forced induction for a while.

Mjames, the install was straightforward. Just make sure you turn the MAF which makes the whole intake align properly.

hermosa, thanks for your reply, but one more quick question...

did you notice a power increase in the 1500-2500 RPM range? very noticeable?

I was not paying that much attention to that range. I will take a close look when I go to work tomorrow.

Hermosa, does that heatshield have a backing (sealed)? Is your car mostly stock other than the intake upgrade? Where's the dyno taking place? I may make a trip up to Sactown if it's that close by. I'd be real curious to see the dyno difference between a full WR cold ram-air and a MAF/K&N/DIY cold-ram air intake.

Do-luck, power increase from 1500-2500 is not likely with just an intake on a stock NA engine.
