Default check out my new little mod to intake

here is what finally got to yesterday. I have been meaning to do this ever since I got the srt intake but didn't have tools and time. the job is not professional and it even looks more like amateur job but it does what it suppose to do which is to draw more cold air to the intake. I am going to buy sheet of adhesive heat shielding material soon and will cover those duct tape but for now it is fine.

look good to me, all you need is to cover the top off, then it's complete.

BTW, you can get a hose adapter or all kind of hose connectors at home depot, pick the one that fit you, they are around 2-3 bux. thus, you won't need the back tape. just a suggestion.

Smart mod.

The more "volume" of cold air you can provide to the air filter the better. This is a good "mod" to the SRT setup and is why I did the same thing with my intake mod on my LS400.

When installing the SRT HFI do you remove any of the seals around the headlight area to allow cold air to enter the box area?
