doing suede

Make sure the surface you are putting it on is super clean #1.
Also get that 3M glue from Home depot...not the red spray, but the green one...i think its called super 99 or something? Its in the paint isle...works like a champ.
For the door handle Id throw a second layer on top of the first because in about a month or so, your gonna start seeing the stitching imprints...a second layer should work fine. Also dont just use glue on the door handles, use staples too.
Also make sure to stretch the material...if you dont stretch it enough, it looks cheap and starts wrinkling...
Hope this helps..

Good luck.
I dunno if its just the pic or not, but the suede around door frame looks a bit loose, wrinkled, as was said..
Did you do the job upon the door; or did you actually remove that whole plastic frame?
I would suggest you take it off, and do it that way (on a table,) if you didnt.
Pull each end tight, and fold about a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch over the back/inside, and fasten those lil' flaps with glue also..
That way it'll be tight, and flush, as tho it originally came on the door; and your suede will feel nice when you rub your hand across the length of it.
Heres some pillars, etc. that I did ... And yes, 3M Spray Adhesive is great.
Spray in light coats, 'cus you don't need alot; otherwise it will bleed thru the suede,
since you sprayed too much.
You have to trust it..
You'll be able to feel it hold strong, were you to pull up on the material.
