Yes it is fully functional.. already said that many times throughout this thread

Except the mode/reset buttons of course as those are not factory options to begin with

I am in the process of converting all the brown parts in my car to black. I am almost done except for the dashboard, R window trim, and ebrake handle.
The wheel is from an ES330, the bag is from my stock 3 spoke, and the airbag cover is from a Camry.
The cover was modified to fit the Lexus badge and was sprayed with Landau black SEM paint to match the wheel. Some modifications had to be done to get the cover on the bag bracket, thanks to vwynn and DRFTSC400 for helping out.
I realized I should've taken pics along the way but oh well.. lol.
SCboy - nice and high quality all done.
Steering wheel with three wood inserts on the ES330 very decorated your SC. Now in your form SC luxury saloon.
Do you think - the steering wheel with wood inserts on the ES330 with the stock airbag can be installed on my SC300-97? Need an adapter or not, that still need to remake?
Thank you for your attention and help, Vadim.

Thanks Vadim, it will need an adapter. The only years that won't need an adapter are the 99 and 00 since both of those years had the stock 3 spoke airbag which I used. I have seen some custom splicing to make the airbag work without a harness but I don't want to risk attempting that as I do not need to. I have an identical setup for sale in the classifieds just fyi.

Yes, airbag - it is a very necessary thing. Without it. It is not worth the risk.
Which adapter should I use?

I have an airbag adaptor 09082-00760.

With an adaptor the nice three spokes can fit into old SC without splicing.
