Default Glossy B-Pillars?

Saw this on Ebay while browsing around:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...lenotsupported

Here's a generic pic from another fitment:

What do you guys think? One of my pillars has a hole (the outer thin layer peeled) and I was thinking maybe this might be good. The seller said the thickness is 1/16" so it would work with my side window visors.

OR I try to just find an OEM one somewhere

yea i looked at these as well and it seems like they just stick on and to me it would look cheap. To all his own though. Just my personal opinion.

Turns out the OEM B-pillar is part of the whole window trim, I got quoted $80-85 for a used one. If you look at the before/after photo, the car they used as an example has B-pillars that stick out to begin with, but on SC's the B-pillar is kind of "sunken in" compared to the trim piece, I wonder if that extra 1/16" when you stick these things on (plus the thickness of the adhesive tape) would line up fine, or maybe stick out.

Someone on here has got to have tried these already LOL

Plus OEM pillars are painted black metallic which flow well with Lexus paint colors.

or you can take your car down to the paint shop and have them match it to your cars color.

my green SC has the pillars painted to match when the car was repainted.
IMO it looks fantastic, especially on dark colored cars.

Thing is, my left side pillar literally has part the top layer "peeled off", when I bought the car it looked like there was an air bubble about a nickel in size there, then eventually it chipped off, if that makes sense.

I have them on mine, there about 1/16 of a inch think and if you have sun damage it hides it well. I cant remember the website i got them from but they were something like 60 bucks or so for the pair.
