Is it possible to swap 2 ECU (from the same year) and not have any effects. Would the button on the key still work for the original car if an ECU swap takes place? Where is the control unit for that piece?

Hmm, two ecu's from the same year same model should be interchangeable. As far as the locks, there is a switch on the lower driver side left panel near the hood latch. This is an on off switch. I beleive the control for the key is located there. Not sure on that one. I would think there is a reset procedure. Maybe someone has it.
