what sensor is this? i need some help

Default what sensor is this? i need some help

hi everyone..........today i was changing the coolant temperature sensor on my 1995 lexus sc400, and then i found this sensor unpluged, is near the coolant temperature sensor...i dont see any wire to plug it in......do you guys know for what is this sensor???

you see that part that goes over it? its in the first picture, i cant remember the part is called im going have to say direct ignitor?

yes thats the ignition coil,this parts does not work with the sensor..the ignition coil have his own wires.........i really dont know for whats is that sensor....i found it like that unpluged.....i dont see any wires to conect it..............BTW my english is not very good hope you understand me..

its the coolent efi sensor the connector that goes to that should be green or gray.

the green one is for the coolant temperature sensor....i dont see any more wires for that sensor.....

Did you make another thread of this I think you did cause I posted in the other one. Thats a no no ,but whatever. I figured out what it was the cold start time switch and that is the right answer. Its a temperature feed to the ecu to pump up the fuel a little higher until it reaches its operating temp. Your going to have to check the wiring harness to see if it was cut out. The older model SC's have that because the 95 and up does NOT have a cold start injector and is just bumps up the flow on the regular injectors. The other sensor is for the gauge.

SLOW SC3 is that your pic or some random girl?

ok bro thank you very much.....i recently buy my sc400 is a 95 maybe the other owner change the engine or something because the car does not have any wire cut out.. i inspect everithing ......i really dont know...the car has everithing in order.. the engine and transmission runs good and strong........
