MODIFIED is our blanket forum code and we are working on a new set of ads with a clublexus code that will probably roll out after Christmas.

Our price on the bushing is $59.97 with free overnight shipping as long as we have it in stock. We ordered 5 of them from Prothane a few weeks ago and we will do our best to keep these in stock at all times.

The ones from Assultech you have to burn them out with a torch ?? Can you be bit more specific ?

the new bushings from jegs (prothane) dont come with the sleeve that is needed for the bushings so you can put a bolt through it.

the stock bushings you have to burn out with a torch. reason being is that you have to re-use the steel and aluminum sleeve that is inside the bushing.
this is only for the lower control arm bushings.. the really big ones(compared to the rest of the bushings).

the instructions told me to do so.. if you are going to do this, get MAPP gas.. propane takes foreverrr.

Weird. Mine came with the sleeves and they were from Jegs, too.

mine came with 4 sleeves. these sleeves are for the upper control arm bushings. if yours came with 8 then they must have messed up.. but the instructions told me to burn them out and reuse.

just to be clear im talking about these bushings on the right.

You were correct. My mistake. The 4 sleeves are for the Upper Control arms. I just remember that I had replaced the Lower control arms with Supra LCA which came with the bushings/sleeves, so I didn't reuse the old ones.

tru. its all good!

and you cant just knock the sleeves out btw people. you have to burn them. i tried, and failed. make sure you do this outside, the fumes are horrendous!

edit:

the jegs kit comes with all of this except the center top metal sleeves *idk what they are for

if you look just to the right/left of those you will see the big bushings im talking about. if you look immeditaly down you see the 4 sleeves that fit into the smaller bushings.
