Default HIDs dont work?

i just got a 93 sc3, and i tried to hook up some 9006 6k hids, and they dont work . . . i know the bulbs and ballasts are good, any suggestions? also the head lights seem a bit dim, maybe not getting enough power to the harness to fire the ballasts?

Flip the polarity. The SC's are backwards compared to most cars. Put the (+ on the -) and the (- on the +)

Yeah!!!! Sounds like the polarity is reversed. Flip the plug on the ballast the opposite way and try it. The plug should fit either way!!
