Exclamation 1992 SC400-Unable to remove key from ignition switch

Hope this problem is an easy fix. I can not get the key out of the switch. I can remove the negative cable from battery and the key comes out, no problem. I had the same thing to happen last month when it got cold,Weather changed and the key came out. Not sure if it was that or what happened.I cold front came through last night and I could not get the key out again.Does anyone have any idea what it might be. Thanks
