I use to have that problem,I got mad frustrated about it one day that I decided to spray a little WD 40 on my key and put it in to the ignition, pulled it back out and saw so much dirty on it, so I repeated the process a few more times wiping off the key till I got it pretty clean and then tested turning on the car and taking it out, worked fine, and I haven't had a problem since, and that was last year. Remember don't spray in the ignition itself but just alittle on the actual key, but yeah me and my father came down to the conclusion that the mechanism inside of it had dirt clogging it from releasing the key.
