Default HID installation problem..

So I got an HID kit from DDM.. I assumed it was a plug n play but when I flip the switch there is no light.

I have the original headlight plug to ballast, ballast to plugs, to lightbulb. However there is another wire with 2 ends, which fit in the original headlight plug.. not sure what these are for?

Pics below.. any help is appreciated!

*Don't hold me accountable for this* But you could try flipping the plug that plugs into your stock harness and try it the other way around. See if that works. That's what I had to do with my fleabay kit.

Plug it in the way you feel its not supposed to. That *SHOULD* work, as it has with my fleabay kit. Granted if it doesn't and you end up blowing your car up I accept no responsiblity

I dont know what it is about the SC, but the wires are backwards! I've put 3 different HID kits in and all of them had to have the wires flipped around.

Easiest thing to do is grab a small flathead screwdriver and if you look in the female connector 9006 plug on the hid kit you'll see a small plastic clip. Press down on it and pull the wire out and flip them around make sure you hear the clip lock back into place so they dont come loose.

Ah i see so basicly you turn the plug upside down and it'll work..? Gosh im excited!! Post pictures now! Do you love the new lighting? Hopefully they wont be TOO blue but i remember reading that 55watt would wash the color awhile due to so much output? So basicly the 6000k color would turn into the 5000k or 4300k color?

I love them, there is a bit of lense flare when I took the pics but photoshopped it out so you can see the color. I love them - not blue at all. Really sets the car off IMO

This is the exact color of them:

I have two different headlight models (pre 97 and 97+) and I must say the 97's cutoff is much better..
