Default Airbag light won't turn off

This is weird...has anyone ever had this happen to them? I wasn't having this problem before I swapped my 1J in, and now that it's done, my airbag light will not turn off, ever...like you take the key out of the ignition, lock the car, and it STILL stays on...anyone have an idea of why my car's doing this? lol

Doesn't matter it would cut off with the ignition off.

Mine was on until I clipped that black wire I told you about, then it went away.

Oh hey, could you tell me which black wire you're talking about? Mine's stays on now, I just finished my 1jz-gte swap, and I know it's a common problem.

Also when you take the bulb out check the other lights around it to see if they still work, I want to confirm a theory of mine lol. If you go to lextech lighting there's a few solutions to this, if the reason it happened was because of a cluster exchange.
i sent mine to lextech but had to move the car w/o the cluster so i'm thinking that may have been it. need to go through that website and see what solutions you are talking about.

Yeah but like O.L.T. said, if you removed the cluster, it would cause the light to turn on, but it would turn off when you remove the key from the ignition.

I already clipped that black wire and it's still staying on, guess I'll have to pull the bulb out, weak. haha
