Exclamation *Airbag Light On After Wire Relocation*

So last night I did the wheel well wire relocation thing and now the airbag light is on.

i remember correctly that i didn't cut any wire. i even double check every single wire and they appear to be fine.

can anyone tell me how to turn it off besides removing the bulb inside the cluster?

i didn't disconnect the battery when i did it, not sure if that matters.

thanks in advance.

It is a good pratice to disconnect the battery when working on electrial systems on your car. I learned that the hard way. Depending on what the fault is that airbag light is a pita to get off. Try disconnecting the battery to see if that helps.Check Lextec site he has a write up on how to clear that light when you have the fault after removing the guage cluster. I replaced the bulbs in my cluster and have the airbag light on my dash and cannot get it off even after following the instructions. Will have to take it to the Lexus dealer or remove the light bulb. Disconnect battery and leave it off overnight..when you come back in the morning and re-hook up the battery, code should be gone (assuming you extended harness correctly).

Sorry but disconnecting the battery overnight will not clear the airbag light. You have to clear it from the airbag ecu. Search airbag light reset and you should find it. Good luck.
