Location of A/C ORIFICE 96 SC400 ????
Is there a A/C orifice valve/filter/tube (microscreen filter) on SC400's ? If yes, where is it?
It appears that there's a restriction in the freon flow. Possibly the drier/evaporator? Are there any other a/c components that may cause restricted and reduced freon pressure? There's no damage. The pressure is at 70 with no rise when quickly increasing rpms. No dye appears to have leaked at the compressor fittings. The only "cool" spot (not cold and no frost) on the lines is near the engine bay firewall. No interior odor. The sensor is controlling the a/c clutch correctly.
Behind and low next to the radiator there's a aluminum part that looks like a little metal torpedo. What is that?
TY!
