How much would a 1997 sc300 black on black 5 speed with 12xxxx miles on it be worth if the only major problems were rips in the back seat?

$11-12k would be my guesstimate. I paid $9600 for mine with 155 on the clock. See if you could talk it into the $10k range and you got a decent deal.

 

Would a price around 8500 be considered a steal? Also he said there was a vibration around 60mph is that a big issue? Also it has a new alpine head unit

but for real, yeah 8500 is rediculus steal for that car, i almost paid 7k for mine and its a 1995 with 145,000 miles on it


thats crazy man, i would seriously pick that car up, if not for yourself you could easily flip that and make a few 1000 off it

 

Mines a 93 SC400 and that cost me 9000. Take it, sounds like a good deal

I got my 97 blk/blk 5-speed with 213,xxx for 7k. I definately would have put out another 1.5k for 100k less miles lol. Id say your getting a deal!

 

After my friend test drove it he said it would need a new clutch. How much would it cost to get it done at a shop or a dealer. Also there was a whine coming from the back of the car when accelerating any suggestions? Also do you have any ideas how to convince my family that this car is only being broken in with 120000 miles? Thanks for all of your help.

 

the vibration could be wheels not balanced as for the 120,000 mile mark show them some of the milage these sc's have on them.

as for 97 body style is lovely i love that body style on top of that its manual and on top of that it has black interior good find i paid nearly 15k for my 99 i think i overpaid but the condition it was in seemed like it was worth it at the time hope you get this sc btw any pics? what color is it?

 

Do you know how much it would cost to replace the clutch?
