Default NEED HELP sc300 STEERING PROBLEM

Hey guys im a newb to this forum and lexus in general. But my problem is with my 92' sc300. Yesterday when i turned on the car and began to back out the wheel wasn't turning as smooth as it should. It felt as if my power steering was non-existant. Well I checked the p/s fluid and it was full. So I'm stuck having to work turning the car and am unsure what is the problem. ANY help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I checked, double-checked, and triple-checked. I didn't see any leaks from any pumps or struts.

no noises like the bearing being siezed in the pump or maybe the lines are clogged or the rack .... for turning wise those would be the main things to check the p/s pump to make sure its not siezed and fluid is flowing the rack and the lines going between em

No noises that I've heard from, I will say that at a certain degree it becomes harder to turn the wheel, around a 95 degree wheel turn, or turning the wheel to about 9' o clock or 3' o clock it becomes far more difficult to turn past that.

Cheap thing to do is completely flush and refill your power steering fluid(purge the air while doing this), check your belts/pulley and jack up front end and check your tie rods, power steering rack bushings while turning your steering wheel.

i had a similar problem before. it turned out the alternator belt was worn out and getting teared little by little. It turned out the tension pulley was causing the problem. So i got new pulley and belt for about 100 bucks at autozone. it worked perfect after that. Check your belt

If the belt is bad or slipping you will have power problems also.

The impeller could be cavitating around the fluid (not pressurizing)

there would most likely be a serpentine belt vibration noise as well as a power issue as ... if the belt was loose ... if the belts not held at the right tension in most cases, i mean he can check it if it is worn he's good to go but very doubtful most likely the pump is done

Make sure the wiring didn't become unplugged.
