Default Please help!

So i received my new Mass air flow sensor today, Installed it and i am having the same problem as before...

My car will start fine, run fine. But if i give it any gas it will stall, OR when underload it will stutter and hesitate. Almost like a jerking sensation. Like some one is pressing and releasing the gas pedal over and over.

The car will run with out the MAF but i only get 2 mpg which is not acceptable.

I have 2 days if that to get this done and fixed for a long road trip, I cant and dont have the time or money to take this into a garage, PLEASE help

If it's a 96 or older just connect an obd2 reader to the obd2 connector. If you dont have a reader take it to a parts store like kragen/checkers or Autozone they usually will do a scan for free and tell you the code number.

You seem misinformed - perhaps you meant "newer" instead of "older."

If it is 92-95 then it is an OBDI. You will have to do the diagnostic check yourself. Basically, get a paperclip and bend it into a U shape. Find the diagnostic port under your hood (little black box that says "Diagnostics" on it) and put one side in TE1 and the other side in E1. Then turn your key on (don't start car) and count the flashes of the CEL (check engine light.) If it doesn't flash you don't have a code. It is does flash, then count the number of flashes, then there will be a pause, then another set of flashes. The first set is for units of ten (eg 3 flashes =30) and the second set of flashes represent singles (eg 5 flashes = 5.) So if you get flash, flash, pause, flash, flash flash that would = 23.

If you have a 96+ then bring it to Autozone and get them to scan with an OBDII reader.

So i looked them up and 2431 looks to be

24 = IAT Sensor Signal

31 = Air Flow Meter Signal

I bought this Air flow sensor from CyBoRg who garenteed me that it was a working sensor, i understand people lie, but i spent 110$ on a non working part from what my car is saying... wtf

The one thing that is confusing to me is my old MAF did the exact same thing as this one is doing, that could mean 2 things, they were both bad or there is something wrong with my ECU/wiring

I have people telling me my car shoulding even run with this thing unpluged is that true? please help =(

When my car sc300 is running and I disconnect the IAC, the idel shoots upm, but the car stays running

I don't see any mention if you reset the ecu after the maf swap.
What happens when you disconnect the battery for an hour. Then start the car?

good luck
