Default NEW AND IMPROVED Exhaust poll thread

Ok fellows i have been teetering on the edge of more exhast work for months now. I need a little nudge or to be told I'm ggod.

Current set up:
stock manifolds>cats>third cat> 2.5" pipe>deleted resonators>5zigen mega fireball w/burnt tip

Considering:
stock manifolds>cats>magnaflow xpipe(sitting on my floor since a year ago)>2.5" pipe>deleted resonators>5zigen mega fireball w/burnt tip

I am just very worried about getting a lot of drone or making my car sound like a nascar. Any expirience with delete third cats and exhaust note. I listened to the intellextual videos already and it didn't seem overly loud even with headers. I am mainly looking for daily driven feedback. I could careless about performance since we all know its not going to gain me much of anything.

Sweet I get to vote in this one!

I voted to keep what you have since the poll makes it seem you enjoy the tone quite a bit. If you like what you have now and aren't thinking about any performance gains either way I don't know why I'd switch.

You have a 400 right considering that you have an xpipe you wanna install.
Option 2 will be loud and droney. I reccomend: Stock header w/ cats, 2.5 piping w/ x pipe, aftermarket center resonator, 2 mufflers of choice. No center cat. Not too loud, not too quiet

When I was NA I just deleted my mufflers and just had pipes and tips and it sounded like a little louder version of a g35/350z!

Yes I forgot to mention I had a 400. I do want a little more audible noise but I don't want to have to speak over the sound of my car on the highway. I had a loud car once and you had to shout over it on the highway. That time has passed for me
