Default noobest question, EVER.

Ok well, I was just wondering. How do you remove stick "rims" "wheels" off a 92' SC300? Friend told me I just can just stick a flat hand screwdriver on the side and pop it off... I'm a little scared of stabbing the wheel so anyways, Is that how you do it? >_<

Whoah, I had forgotten all about the OG "pie pan" wheels on 1SC.

If memory serves, then yes that's correct.....but you might want to verify by posting this in the SC forum where most of the SC guys hang out.

you mean that little cover on the wheel covering the lug nuts? if so, yeah, there should be a spot where there is a little **** where you use the flat head to pop it open. at least that's my experience

I didn't mean the lugnuts area, I meant the whole "oem" "stocktacular" wheel itself.

basically I want to know if I can get that front piece off without having to remove the wheel itself taking off the lugnuts and junk.

I'll give a few more mins to see if anyone can double verify here before moving to the sc threads

Er, I didn't think it has wheel covers, it's a solid rim isn't it?

If so, gotta loosen the lug nuts, jack up the car, remove the wheel, in that order.

Im loss, are you just trying to take the wheel off? A screw driver will pop off the center cap and then you can take off the 5 lug nuts for the wheel. Dont forget to jack the car up first.

do you have hubcaps on your wheels or something? If so...In some cases you DO need to take off the lugnuts to get the hubcap off becaue some are held on by the lugnuts, in most cases, you can just use a screwdriver to pry it off at the edge, it will be easier to use two flathead screwdrivers at the same time.
