I keep reading about the 2JZ-GTE engine being "better" than other engine types but frankly, I have no idea what the difference is. My 92 SC400 apparently (according to my dealers work invoice) has a 1UZ-FE engine. I am sure someone can enlighten me.

 

Lexus V8 - 1UZ-FE
Lexus & Supra N/A I6 - 2JZ-GE
Supra Twin Turbo I6 - 2JZ-GTE

 

find an SC with a 2JZ-GTE engine in it
and buy it on the spot.....you might find you like it a lil too much
