Question AEM Ecu

Has anyone tried these for the SC300 using the Supra application?

We had a thread about this 'couple months ago, as to the feasibility of the Supra unit. I know the plugs are the same, but there were other issues to be investigated, to my knowledge no one here has done it yet, but ain't technology great Marcus? Plug n' Play, what more could you want. By the way, thanks for the prompt reply to my e-mail, you are good people bro, looking forward to doing business w/ you.

I was under the Impression that SC300 and N/A Supra had an identical ECU. Infact, Sound Performance who installed my AFC used N/A Supra diagram to wire it. They said it's identical. There are other compurers for controling other things, but the ECU for engine menagment is the same as N/A Supra. Hey, Leo, can you confirm this?

I remeber the thread. But the last time that I had checked it had pretty much died out.
I know that everything is pretty much the same which was even stated to me by my Rep but wouldnt let me hold him to the statement since AEM had not added it to their application list.

I have a friend who is selling his 300 ,but im on the fence about it.

Lex Luthor: Thanks, Glad that I could help out.

I can vouch for this, after installing the DEFI HUD, I used Supra N/A pinouts to figure out what to use; and they are the exact same.

The cars are the exact same, period; they use the same AFM, the same engine/head/intake/exhaust manifold/transmission/ injectors/differentials (not including the LSD on some of the Supras); they even use the same fuses

It should work. I would take the leap of faith; and I plan on doing it once I have the money (and the turbo kit to go with it).

I talked personally with the AEM guy a while back, and he said it will work, they're the same. We're good to go with them!

Now if it wasnt snowing (about 6 inches) id go take another look at this SC300 for sale. It needs a front bumper cover, new front seats and headlights...we have all of these parts sitting at the shop collecting dust from the conversion last year
