Also they look a lot softer.
I don't think leather is supposed to be "shiny"

It looks just like the leather we got in our 4runner.

Forget inspecting. Get some new ones and never worry about em' again.

Turbo kit came today and I just couldn't help myself. I tore into the boxes and started drooling.

We started to dismantle the front bumper and unpacked everything. We started making the brackets for the intercooler mounting. Tomorrow we're gonna try to organize everything and make a list of all the extra hardware we are going to need.

Stay tuned! We should be boosted by no later than sunday! If things go well, by friday night/saturday morning.

Once I get the front wheels on and finish some minor body work and detailing I'll have some more pics of the car. It shouldn't take too long the body was in overall good shape.

Thanks! Yep since the ending of jan... Its been a ton of work but well worth it

I was trying to save all the work for sunday, but I couldn't help myself, we did some more prep work friday... Pulled the front bumper, intake, soaked the manifold nuts in PB blaster etc etc

I'm gonna be at school today so we may not do anything today... We'll be doing some work tomorrow morning, i'll give you a call and let you know.

Def. trying to be done by saturday/sunday.

If you cant get the dp bolts off (like me) just take it to some exhaust shop and they will cut em out for like $5. Also, with the new dp/midpipe combo you will have, you will need to get a gasket for it since there isnt one stock. Are you going to remove the lower pan when you drill for the oil drain? If you do, you need to take the exhaust side engine mount out in order to remove the lower pan. What plugs are you going to be using? How much PSI are you going to run? If you have any questions during the install pm me your Gunnar and we'll try and help out!

I'll let you know if we run into any problems along the way. So far so good. We mounted up the intercooler already and started removing the old exhaust.

Using copper NGK plugs. BRK7e or whatever they are.

7PSI for the rest of the summer. Next winter we're rebuilding the motor and throwing in the HG. Or ill run water injection and raise the boost a little.

We have no plans to drop the oil pan... just lots of grease. I've seen lots of setups already running fine.
