I read about the GTE tranny swap and it sounds like a $#%@... We'll see what happens. Didn't know a 1j trans would work. For now as travis said up there. Lets get some flames shooting outta that DP! lol.

1jz auto tranny, you can source them for like $200 and with a good cooler they can hold upwards to 450whp.

Well we didn't get to finish today as I had hoped. We were trying to work up till 7 but it started to rain so we just took a break for the day.

We tapped for the feed line, we tapped for the return, we clocked the turbo and tapped for vacuum.

So all that is left to do is

- Bolt down manifold
- Bolt down turbo
- Install vac lines
- Run intercooler pipes
