Whenever I stop my car, it seems that there is a heavy vibration happening under me and all my passengers. It is a louder droning noise, but whenever I start moving it seems to go away, and when I put my car in neutral is goes away. Also if I have the heat on my AC button starts to flash when I seem to have it on for a longer time. Its been happening for more then a week now, and I don't know if it helps but it's been the coldest week since winter started and it was -3 yesterday. My friend said he had a similar noise in his 240 and it was his brake lines, and it went away after winter. I don't know what I should do =/

::ninja edit:: My car is a 96 and has 144572 miles on it for what it's worth

Does it happen while you are braking or when you are at a complete stop?

Complete stop, I can feel it with my feet, e-brake and steering wheel.

if the a/c light is flashing than you have a problem with the compressor clutch circuit.

I would verify whats causing the noise first. remove the belt for compressor and recheck for noise.
