Default Groan/squeak from AC vents after startup

I bought my car 3 days ago and have noticed that every time I start it up for the first time each day I hear what I am assuming is a HVAC vent moving. Does anyone else have this and will the dealership do anything about it?

Mine does this depending on what the setting is at startup. And it only happens when I first start the car when it's cold.
From what I can gather from research it seems to be the servo motor or blend door motor. I just haven't taken the time to try and record it and contact the dealer. It should definitely be covered under warranty.

This happens to me too, a lot. Every time I start my car in the morning with passengers inside they look at me weird and I have to say, it wasn't me, it was the car... Then they just laugh...

Same thing happens in my 2014 IS350 which I had for almost 4 years now. I only started noticing this noise in the morning in the past few months.

My 2014 had the HVAC groan, but it was intermittent, so I didn't report it to the dealer. The 2016 hasn't made the noise so far.

I knew I wasn't the only one! I wonder if the dealer will fix it if possible.

I had this same issue and was told it was a problem with a heaterbox motor. The dealership took care of it. I was able to repeat the problem at the dealership by setting auto temp from low to high, or vice versa.

Exactly happened to my previous 2011 IS350 , its lasted for couple month and died out completely in the middle of winter, turned out it was the Blower Fan Motor, Lexus costs 300$ CAD around 220$ USD, replaced it with Aftermarket premium one, no more noise, i found out Lexus Blower motor Fan is defected. You should contact dealership right away and let them know.

Ask them and see, my 2011 one was out of warranty when it happened, sometimes when people change their cabin filter they breaks the cliff that holds the fan so it makes noise but if u have never changed or touched anything in there most likely the blower fan motor is on his way to hell.

Is this the source of the stomach growling noises? I hear stomach growling in the mornings. Sometimes sounds like toots and farts.
