Cool ABS/Engine light on constantly

Looking for some advise on this condition, car brakes seem ok and will have checked in few days, but does the abs light auto the engine light ? How can I disable the abs system if brakes check out alright, and just use as standard braking system with no problems. The lights drive me crazy... lol

Or better yet, change the pads, rotors and flush the fluid.

does the light come on and off? does it come on during a turn? if so, it means the brake fluid is low so check the reservoir for low fluid. if not, might be something bigger.

It's got to be the master cylinder.

I don't know if you have already tried this out but there is a ABS plug by our front wheel hidden behind the plastic fender covers. I don't know if there's one on the driver side but when I got done installing my new shocks my ABS light came on and we took the plastic apart and realized that we forgot to plug in the ABS next the front passenger side wheel. We plugged in the plastic plugs, just clicks in easily, and the light went away. Yours might just be loose or it could be something else. Hopefully this helps.

Yeah, that too. It's located on the passenger side, under the fender. My ABS light came on and I look at everything and seem ok but I found the sensor was chewed up by the tire.

Good call man.

to disable the abs system pull the abs relays that are under the hood in a little box next to the fuse box. there is 2 abs relays and 2 TRAC relays i believe. my car doesnt have TRAC so i those spaces were blank.

I thought it was E1 & TE1 only to check the codes? What's Tc for?
