Default my build ( in progress )

all started when i spun a rod bearing in my 1jz



new oem toyota 2jz-gte short block
new oem toyota oil pump
shimmed oil pick up
every gasket replaced
arp head studs
oem toyota head gasket
port and polish head
crowler valve springs
HKS 272/264 cams
adjustable cam gears
T4 exhaust manifold
tial 40mm wastegate
greddy t78-33d
all vac hoses are ss
mvp motor sports top feed fuel rail
RC 800cc injectors
veilside replica intake manifold
80mm throttle body
dual ssqv bov's
2jz wiring harness
aem ems
aem 3 bar map sensor
24x12x4 inch front mount
2.5 inch hot side intercooler piping
3 inch cold side intercooler piping
areomotive feul pressure regulator

and much more i know i am forgetting a few things that i cant remember.




i found some free time tonight....

finished the motor

bolted the motor to the car

Yeah and it only tooks about 16 years of sc heritage lol My gta just spun a bearing, it must have worn the main down about 1/8" crazy!

A 2jz on a stand is a menacing sight. They are spectacular engines and look mean as hell. The build on yours is sweet, great list...

It's a 1.5JZ aka 1jz head on 2jzgte block. Not a full 2jzgte.


Nice job Matt, next season is going to be crazy with all the boosted SC's around here. I will need to go single sooner than I planned lol.

MD= home of the Boost Boys!....I am about 6 months out. I think Fonzo is next!

yeah it was a total accident when i went to Toyota and ordered a 2jz-gte short block assembly read the main post before you reply.

why??? are you trying to keep up with the big dawgs now rofl i thought you were going to rock the stock twins for as long as you could i think (val)(sp) has a faster sc then me

Question about the 1.5, do you use a 1jz wiring harness or a 2jz? And which ecu do you use? You proly use the 2jz ecu and wiring harness?

1jz wiring and ecu works fine with a piggy back, i went with jdm 2jz wiring and aem ems.
