Default strange electrical problem

i've been searching the forum for a while to see if anyone else has this problem. i have a 92' sc300, and when its in 1st gear and i step on it or launch, the light for the e-brake comes on. sometimes if i stop hard the light will come on again and it shuts off after the car slows down. the e brake is all the way off. i checked fuses and found that the fuse for the traction control was removed. i was wondering if anyone else has this problem?

You need brakes. It is not an electrical problem, it's a your brakes are worn problem. Give it a few more weeks and they'll start getting noisey.

Do all your brakes have to be bad before the light comes on?

Before I changed mine my right front brake was making noise (no padding left lol). The rears were fine and I got no light.

It's just one of those weird little instances that happens randomly when the brakes are worn and you twist it up getting on it or braking hard. One of the sensors will pick it up.

The light may come on because the brake fluid is low.

That is also true. I was hoping he'd at least checked the fluid when his brake light had came on so I went with the next step

Its not an electrical issue what so ever. If your brake fluid is low in the reservour and you go and step on it to accelorate all the weight will shift to the back and so will the brake fluid in the reservur causing the light to come on and same whe braking, all the weight will transfer to the front making the light to come on. what i would do is check your brake material make sure you have enough left, if you do then next i would check the fluid level. if it is indeed low then check the system for any leaks first. if none are found then just add some fluid and you whould be ok.
