it's all plug and play
do i have to remove day time running lights?
if so how can i disable them. can i just remove a fuse or just unplug them from harness?

what brand is it? I got one off of ebay and it wouldn't work all I did is plug in the harness backwards...the one where the kit connects to the car....I just turned the plug around and it worked...oh yeah, mine was made by "pilot"

its most likely that the positive and negative is switched on the part that connects to the headlight plug...happened to me...i just switched them back around and bam they worked.

thing is my harness is made for a 9006 bulb so its all plug and play. if i reverse the harness it wont fit on correctly.
ummm i even tried to take out the day time running light bulbs and no luck.maybe i just got a dud.
i will try it again see whats up. thanks for the help and if anyone else has suggestions please let me know.

umm...it will fit on correctly...i used to work at a shop and all we did was Angel Eyes and HIDs. Some of the ballasts have reversed plugs...don't ask me why, iunno, manufactures are dumb...the normal ballast plug is typically for a 9006 application, then you have the harness that plugs into a H1,H3, H7, etc etc

just.. use something pointy.. and.. poke it in the harness to remove the progs.. them reverse them.. if you look at the wires that come from your stock harness and.. the hid kit plug in.. the positive and negative is switched around... it'll fit.. if you reverse the progs.. not turn the plug.. if you're not getting what im saying.. just cut the wires and switch them.. that would work too..

I had the same problem, just switch the wires by looking inside that male connector and moving the clip aside then the wire will come out and swap them. So switch the negative to positive and vice versa.

you gotta take the lil pos and neg rods out the plug thing....and switch them manually....pretty simple and takes about 5 min.
