SC is totalled...driver's side front got impaled by a tree and some shrubbery and both airbags popped...shes in bad shape totalled, absolutely..this is so sad

Thanks for the words everyone, I'm thoroughly disappointed I just spoke with Risng_sun (thanks for calling) and was thinking over some options. I haven't really had a chance to look at the damage in detail, but it looked pretty bad on first inspection. It could just be cosmetic + suspension, and I'm entertaining the idea of totalling it, buying it back and fixing it...but it all depends on how bad it really is, plus i've got both airbags popped. I might just take the money and run to a new car (not sure at this point what it will be though)

As for how it happened, I was basically run off the road last night, the guy was probably drunk but I don't know since he swerved into my lane on a two lane residential street and then proceeded to dart away while I was left with a tree in my car...this is the second time someone has caused me to spin out into a tree same thing happened back on Sept. 1 of 2003!
