I'm sorry about your loss by some careless idiot. I was almost side-swiped in my SC this week by some impatient idiot who couldn't stay behind some slow cars for a few more seconds while I passed. I thought he was going to hit me but luckily I escaped just in time by speeding up and moving to the left side of the lane a little.

Man, this year was certainly not the best year for us. Glad you're alright though, thats the important thing. Hopefully that fate doesn't come to me and Antonio as well, that would be horrible

Just think of it this way. You've been in 2 accidents and you lived to tell the tale each time. Gotta appreciate how strong the SC really is...

Glad that you came out of this physically unscathed. The car is bad, but someone will buy it and either give it a new home, part it out or resell it. That person could be you if you have the space & time. Sorry about your loss. Do you have any prospects on a new ride?

I am very sorry to hear about this. I was extremely sad when I wrecked mine. I know the feeling of losing you car....
you should pull of the high beams, emblems, inside cup holder, exhaust, and more. how much is your buyback, it might be worth it?

I am glad you made it out unhurt! Many of the parts are salvageable and because of this you could use this opportunity to find another SC with the options you wish your old one had... for example maybe you wanted a black interior... or a standard transmission... and it is not a complete loss because the parts that you can save from it will bolt right up to the new one... Good luck and be sure to let us know what happens.

thanks for the offers fellas, but it's time to say goodbye to this one. As for my next car, I won't be buying one for a month at least (insurance is covering a rental car for the time being). After I turn 21, i'll be buying another so I can pick up the over 21 insurance reduction. Even if the car is salvageable, I don't want to bring it back from the dead for what would be the third time in it's life. It definitely won't be the same after this one. As for salvaging and parting it out, I don't really have time to do that so I'm just going to take the check and run with it. Should be in the $5500+ range according to book value.
