its been awhile since i last visited the forums, but i have run into my first problem after my swap a year ago. it was on monday when i stopped at a stop sign, and my car's electronics goes out. the cluster and radio, yet the emergency lights work. while all this is goin on my cars engine is still running. yes you heard me right, everything shuts off yet the car is still running (it happened the same day, and i just drove with no cluster or anything but it still drove). so i turn off the car and it starts up.

it happens again the next day. yesterday was a good day, nothing happened. BUT today, it happened AGAIN. this time i turned off the car and guess what, NOTHING. the car wouldnt start, the cluster doesnt light up or anything. i noticed that b4 the engine dies, the battery light comes up.

anyone have any idea whats goin on?? i ordered a new alt and wont be here til sat. i hope its not my wiring...

 

Ground wires cause this when it is not getting good contact If you search it you will get alot of info on this
