Wont come out!! it's stuck...

 

Try moving the steering wheel from side to side as you release the key.

 

Yup sounds like he locked the steering wheel here. Happens every once in a while.

 

Yup try the steering wheel or make sure it is fully in park.

 

both of my sc400 and sc300 had the problem where you had to really give the shifter a good push to get them fully in park. i fixed the issue on my sc300 by removing the transmission, drive shaft, brake pedal, shifter bezel, and then replacig all thos parts with ones from a 5 speed. problem solved

 

hummm. i still have thiz going on in my car.. i was told it was the shift link and or motor-mounts.. when i slam on the brakes cars goes from Drive to Neutrel.. And when i am in park i have to give the ***** shifter a good wack (no pun) to get the key out...
let me see if i could find the pic of the part someone sent me that needs to be fixed,

ps..this all started when my girl got into a fender bender(that bender being the other car)
