Has anybody have this happened? Locked steering wheel?

 

I assume jiggling it back and forth while turning the key doesn't help?

 

I did everything, jiggle, wiggle, muscled it. Took about 10 minutes. Thought I was gonna be stuck for good. The wheels were turned to the left. Now I never do that again. Just lined up straight. Any reason why it did it? Happened twice to me, in the 7 years I had car.

 

from my experience, the park/neutral switch can cause this problem also. Next time try playing with the shifter if it happens to you again. gl

 

Yes I have had this problem... a few times now! juggling the wheel eventually got it sorted.
