plus, you wouldnt want to; the stock turbos spool quite quickly... fabricating the 2jz turbos would probably be less work
oh and just to clear up terms... stating your buddys "2jz" gs300 is kind of ambiguous since all GS300s before the 3rd gen came out had 2jzs in them
