I have a 1997 sc 300 manual trans I want too install a supra 2j motor. is it a direct bolt in and will my sc trans hold up

No it wont work, you will need to find the tranny mounts of a b18 type-r motor that you can purchase through any japanese retainer in the US. Your harness also needs to be DTM or EDM spec from a lexus soarer in the UK. Goodluck!

you need the 5jz motor, not the 2jz

 

hes rite its 5jz, the old 2jz are so bad...the new 2jz bolts rite in like charm..its only 2000$
