Default Stupid Fuel Filter!!! Help

So my fuel filter fitting from tank to filter is rusted on. I spent all day banging it with a hammer, PB blasting it, and trying to get it off with my 14mm. after repeated use, the 14mm wound up rounding the bolt. awesome. vice grips did even worse. I cannot get this bolt off!

What should I do? I cant heat it with a torch

So what do I do?

Continue to try and get this filter off?
Try and find new hard lines that are not all rusted to ****?
Get a "performance" filter and SS lines?

let me know please!!

Thanks
Matt

The dreaded sc fuel filter fittings, been there, done that, I was able to force mine with vicegrips, I suppose the real fix would be to price a new steel line to the tank from Lex.

Mine was a serious pain as well. Vice grips did the job.

Try using a 14mm line wrench as well.

think about it even if you get it off how will you get it back on there tight enough, its got to be relly tight for it not to leak gas.

i dont know if it will work but you can buy like a 4 or 6" pipe wrench and if you can get it in there it will come off or something will break.
