tt sway bar swap question!
so guys, i am going to be doing a tt trd sway bar swap soon and..... on the supra tt swap it says all i need is to dremel the holes in the mouths bigger, but i have heard from a few people that i need supra endlinks? but it is mentioned nowhere on the supra diy pdf file. just wanted to double check.. do i need supra swaybar endlinks? or will my stock sc300 ones be fine?
Having done this, trust me, you can use your end links. You need only the Supra Sub-Frame mounts.
"...but I've heard from a few people" ...those people dead wrong and probably got sub frame and end links confused just like many of us in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...links+sway+bar

I am only bumping this thread to deposit information I have found for someone.
Regarding the FRONT Supra TT swaybar swap into an SC300 (not the rear), I have noticed different part numbers in the Toyota/Lexus system. I have not converted to the front swaybar myself so I am just passing on my notes for anyone interested.
The bushings for the TT front swaybar are slightly different if the differing part numbers are any indication. I have only converted the rear swaybar on my SC300 so I have never had to work out the details.
Front sway bar bushings Supra NA/TT 93-96:

4882424030 stabilizer bar clamp Right (clamps over bushing)
Front Sway Bar bushings SC300:

4882424030 bracket SC300, SC400 SC300 & SC400 (clamps over SC300 bushing) (order x2)
Stabilizer end links same for Supra NA, Supra TT, SC300, SC400:
4882024010 Stabilizer Link Left and Right (order x2)
You should only need to replace the sway bar bushings and clamps. I saw no listing for the bolts that go into the chassis mounting points but no doubt any Toyota or Lexus dealer could source them for you by looking up the bushing and clamp part numbers. I would just reuse your original bolts.
I believe an SC400 may not be able to accept the Supra front sway bar due to clearances (but honestly at the time of this writing I cannot remember one way or the other-- maybe I am wrong on that point).
The first link in this search should be for the correct PDF which details the front and rear Supra TT swaybar swap into an SC300.
