Can someone do me a favor? Im working out the bugs of my 2JZGTE swap, and my climate control wont even turn on. Fuses are fine, so im thinking its something wierd. I noticed that when the emergency light button isnt plugged in, the l/r signals dont work. So im thinking something may not be plugged in that should be.

The only things I can tell that arent plugged are the 3 plugs that are left over from the auto shifter and the one plug on the heater valve, in the engine bay. I dont expect anyone to rip open their console/shifter to test the 3 plugs on the shifter (which i doubt are the issue) but if anyone could unplug the 1 plug on the heater valve and let me know if hte CC still turns on.

Could it also have something to do with the car wanting to be in park/neutral? I also converted the AT to a MT, and the starter works by having the ignition wired directly into the engine bay starter line. Would not having the Neutral safety switch grounded have something to do wiht it?

Anyone electrical guys got any suggestions on how to get the climate control powered up ?

 

I have the same problem after my 1JZ swap... everything worked fine before the swap. I have an Auto ECU / engine set, on a SC that came stock 5spd... although I'm not sure how much of a difference that could make.

 

You need to rewire the Ignition back to the way it was because it powers the CC

Who did your wiring? Bad harness?

 

Radio works, and everything else works. Checked all fuses and they are fine. Anyone else have a similar problem? Anyone who did a 5speed/Auto swap?

 

Sorry for bringing a post up from the dead but I have this exact problem, everything works except the climate control, the lights around the CC dont even come on.
