I've done a search but still want to query how people are addressing the hood struts dying on our cars.

Does anyone know if we can get them recharged or is buying new/used ones the best alternative?

Since our cars come with them stock, i think the placement would be quite easy.

hehe i always thought they were cool.

 

i got a set of "jdm" hood shocks off ebay for like 20 bucks they work fine

 

i got a set of shocks for sale, 30 shipped pulled from a 98 sc4.

 

i'd go with aliga, very reputable dude

I paid $50 for used supports to a guy on here, so $30 for two seems very reasonable.

 

Hood struts are hood struts. Just buy aftermarket ones if money is an issue. They're cheap.
