Ummm........... just hypothetically speaking......... but where can I find some good LSD? If I was looking for some....... you know.......... just saying!

You say that the stuff KAAZ is cooking up is no good, but the TORSEN stuff is much better. What if I wanted to go and try to cook my own stuff (welded)? Or are there other scientists that I haven't heard of cooking up some seriously good LSD? What would ya'll recommend?

I want to enjoy the wonderful feelings that originate with the use of LSD.

SO PLEASE HOOK A NIKKA UP!!!!!

well the stock TT torsen is pretty much a 1 way. itll hook up under acceleration but wont if your going into a turn or decelerating. its depends on what you're doing with your car. drifting= 2 way, autox and track=1.5 imo, and drag 1way torsen.

kaaz is awesom, have friends with their 2 way. loud but works and a bargain too.

iono i had mine for almos a year now i rebuilt at 8 months cause i drift it like i stole it. thats at least 15 min day straight drift. yea its noisy and there are failures my cone's didnt wear properly due to manufacturing 1 out of 100 units do it. i ran a welded diff for 1 track event just to see how it is. i like both. for drifting nothing beats a welded full lock. for touge and gymkhana and auto-x 1.5 way or 2 way u can control ur driving line with the gas on accel- and decel. BTW guys the TRD 2 way for our cars isnt that much more expensive than the kaaz 2 way just fyi i had to choose between the 2 since kaaz is 2 blocks from my house i went with that so i can get it serviced easily.

Cost

$791-$1000 kaaz 2 way lsd PT# DAT3020

$860-$1200 TRD 2 Way Lsd Part # TR 41301-JS401

those 2 will bolt directly to your pumpkin using ur old ring gear and bearings. let me know if u have any questons on this matter hey scoarer drive on that lsd for another 2 months hard then ill add 4 clutch disk to ur lsd to get it lockin harder i have extra's when i did mine.

The kaaz 2 way for the supra comes wiht only 8 clutch disk that are thicker compared to 240 with 12 clutck disk.

Again Kaaz sucks....Burn, crash, die...CLicks around turns, the clutch system sucks, feels like it is track worthy only and not street worthy..Need to service Kaaz diff's every 2000 miles which is a joke..They break and is just a pile of crap, go TRD......Did I mention I ran the Kaaz LSD on my SC for six months and trashed it like a bad habit...

TRD would be a much better choice in my humble opinion...

agree i like the trd unit better but i stated why i chose the kaaz unit. the 2000k service is just changing of ur fluid. i use regular penzoil non synthetic 80-90 in my diff for daily driving with half a tube of friction modifier it removes the cliking. yes i found teh cure for it. on track days i run only kaaz oil only and i change after every event. The TRD 2 Way is pretty much the same concept as teh kaaz with the clutch paks too.

serious, I appreciate your experience with Kaaz, but besides from you, I have not heard anything bad about them...I personally love it..like others have stated TRD is 1.5..you choose which one depending on what you do....
