Default HELP! Is it even worth it?

Hey Lexus owners, this is my first post on here so bear with me, and I'm also new to owning a Lexus so I had a few questions to ask. Alright so I picked up a 92 sc300 with 135k miles on it from my moms friend who is a cop who kept the car in immaculate condition. he sold it to me for 3500, and boy was it worth it because I love this thing(and its a major step up from my 94 accord)! Its completely stock so my first plans are suspension and wheels. I've been finding a lot of places selling lowering springs, but not so many that sell struts. anyone know any good stores online with such equipment? alright secondly, and sadly, the car has the 4-spd automatic. this may be a stupid question, but is it plausible to eventually convert it to manual? I suppose anythings possible, but would it be more cost effective to maybe sell my sc300 stock for more than i bought it, then use that money for a manual 300, possible a 400? Cuz I mean eventually I am gonna want to throw a turbo in there with all the fixins. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance everyone!

read through this website, its everything you need to know: www.intellexual.net

You can convert the auto to a 5-speed, but sometimes it can be more efficient to just look for a 5 speed. They are out there.

Check out www.tmengineering.net for SC shocks. Remember you can also use 94+ Supra TT lowering springs in combination with 94+ Supra TT shocks, that may be a cheaper route depending on how low of a stance you'd like.

ok....i've asked this before...and in my opinion....if you REALLY want a manual sc...then you should just sell yours and buy a manual 1...cause its TOO much trouble and money (to me) to convert it...

Default Just curious O.L.T.

When are the mods going to consider a minimum number of posts before starting a thread. This is a classic example of a good question from a newbie where there is massive info in CL already.
