What brand is that? I'm looking for an OEM-fitting CF hood just to paint the color of my car... after taking off my hood without any help, I really realized just how heavy the damn thing is, lol. Also, did you have to get rid of the hood props when you went CF, or are you still using the factory parts?

i'm pretty sure you do JJG, and pins are a must to keep that thing from poppin up, Kraze will know in more detail but thats what i know to my knowledge

just outta curiosity you painting it or not?

looks good on the color though for once, so even though i pref it to be painted, IMO you could go either way here

i had to remove the hood shocks, they pushed the hood up while it was closed creating an uneven gap. i'm not running any hood pins either. i'm installing weather stripping on the hood to create a seal to prevent wind from getting under there.

While I know it's not an SC, I've had a carbon fiber hood on my DD since March of '05, about 30K miles, and have never had a single problem with not having hood pins on it since the latch lined up right and it latches securely.

thx for the comment guys, as for the hood the fitment was PERFECT, i took out my shocks because it was pushing it up, and as for the hood the only thing i use from the orginal hood was the safty latch other then that it doesnt pop or budge. every hood need little bit of modification, i need to cut a long strip for the hood to go down. cant explain it maybe ill take some pictures and show you guyz
