is it bad? jump start from V8 to 4 cylinder?
Hi I have civic sitting on my parking lot, and I need to jump start. Is it no problem to jump start from my sc400, v8 engine to 4 cylinder 1992 civic?
2 months ago I did this to start my civic, and 2 days later my lexus battery died...but it was old battery. now I have new battery, but I dont wanna kill my sc400. I need to start my civic because I 'm planning to sell.
If you have any idea, please let me know.

It puts a starting strain on the host vehicle, I would imagine your SC battery was just about ready go anyways, and it was just coincidence. There should be no more strain on the system than an ordinary start up of your own vehicle, espcially a small 4 cylinder which requires less amperage than an equivalent V-8.
