Default Trouble starting this morning

First off, let me say I'm excited to be a GS owner. I just got this thing last week with 185k from the second owner and paid $3700 for it. It's in pretty good shape and the power just puts my Prelude to shame.

Now, This morning when I went out to start my car, it wouldn't start. I turned the key to the start position and the dash lights and everything comes on but it won't crank, start, nothing. After a few tries, it finally started. This is the first time it has done this otherwise, it has started every time. I'm just looking for opinions as to what it could be since I don't want to be stranded one day from not being able to start my car.

**We can cancel out the starter because it didn't crank over.

I would start with battery connections and the battery itself. Check to make sure the battery cables are connected properly as well as the ground.

Yeah, but the lights on the dash came on and for it to not crank or anything, I would find it hard to believe it's the battery especially since it started like it normally would after a few tries. I was going to switch out my battery anyways but I'm still looking for more opinions. I'd hate for it to be the immobilizer or anything else that would cost a lot of $$$.

Are the contacts actually inside the starter? Would it make sense to just replace the whole starter then?
