you guys know if i wound need the sc3 to be reinforced .. if i choped off the top ?!

i was thinking about just cutting it off.....and not make a top for it.

have yall guys seeen the yellow and white one yet?

know where it would need to be reenforced?

Yar, Ive seen both the yellow and white one...both are amazing cars. No clue where to reinforce the car, you might try the advanced search function, but by tearing off the top of the car you weaken the entire structure...alot...like alot alot. So do some research, the vertable thing has been done so its out there somewhere.

i believe most convertibles have most of their reinforcement under the car, thats why they weigh more than their non convertable counterparts

I wish they built them convertible, i still think that white one looks freaken awesome.

Yeah, if you were to chop off the top you would really need to reinforce the chassis alot. the convertibles are really clean though. I too wish they sold them here.

more like anywhere, lexus/toyota never produced the SC in a convertable, those were custom

The older SC's were actually made in convertible form. But im too lazy to find it.

The previous body style of the Soarer was offered as a convertible, but the one we know as the SC3/4 never was. One of the reasons for the SC430. They claimed demand from Lexus owners for a convertible and Toyota found the SC3/4 body to not be strong enough for a drop-top model. They decided to go for a totally new car. Any SC3/4 you see on the road is a totally custom job.

i like the look but only on a car with full body kits like the white one....stocked looking vert not doin it for me
