Yar, Ive seen both the yellow and white one...both are amazing cars. No clue where to reinforce the car, you might try the advanced search function, but by tearing off the top of the car you weaken the entire structure...alot...like alot alot. So do some research, the vertable thing has been done so its out there somewhere.
Yeah, if you were to chop off the top you would really need to reinforce the chassis alot. the convertibles are really clean though. I too wish they sold them here.

more like anywhere, lexus/toyota never produced the SC in a convertable, those were custom
The previous body style of the Soarer was offered as a convertible, but the one we know as the SC3/4 never was. One of the reasons for the SC430. They claimed demand from Lexus owners for a convertible and Toyota found the SC3/4 body to not be strong enough for a drop-top model. They decided to go for a totally new car. Any SC3/4 you see on the road is a totally custom job.
