Ok, so I took the plunge and changed my interior to black. Talk about a pain in the A$$. Looking back, I see hundreds of places that I could have made it easier and or faster if I had only known then what I know now. All in all, I'd do it all again if I had the choice. The results have been pretty good. I bought a 92 SC300 with the interior in very rough condition and part of the driver side dash in pieces. The guy had broken the linkage between the key ignition and the start switch deep in the dash. He took it all apart, couldn't figure anything out and left it. To say the least I made a serious deal on the car but have had a serious pain figuring out all of the issues with the car. Thanks to this latest group buy from leatherseats.com, I will also be sporting all new black leather on the seats and e-boot. Unfortunately I didn't get any before photos and only a few during photos. I'll try to post some helpful hints and pictures when I get it all done. So now on to my questions for the group:

I'm mostly done with the interior, but the headliner is yet to be done. My interior was the spruce/grey, so the grey parts don't look too bad with the black, temporarily. What does the headliner in the black interior look like? Is it all black? Black sunroof controls? Black visors? or Charcoal? or ?? If anyone can give me some guidance, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for all of the help that I've received on this board, and in the archives. I'm new to the SC world, and learning so much. I have so far to go to finish my SC, but at least it's on the road and I can drive it for some pleasure. No mods until I get it really cleaned up. 99.9% functional and working well is my goal, then I might make it more fun.

 

it would be grey. headliner, visors, moonroof... all grey. If people are lucky enough... it's dark grey.
